But Mac was fully documented and properly restrained and that ploy was foiled. In any case, the Animal Control people were kind, polite, friendly and professional, like every other Bermudian we met.

One bad apple does not spoil the barrel in this case. Bermuda in general and St. Georges in particular is a perfect technical and fun stop. A marvelous sunny, friendly set of islands, poking up 16,000 feet from the sea floor, just there where you want it. There is easy and inexpensive access from the States, and they have 500 years of experience of welcoming sailors.
