Being fairly new to sailing and with plenty of reading I am playing catch up with, it was just this morning the 19th of January I managed to read the article of Frank and Maggie B in Septembers Boat International. As I also am in venture capital I could relate to some of the issues around risk management, and found the detail and passion Frank had brought to the commissioning and sailing of Maggie B a lovely and inspirational story. So I decided to take a look at the website and was aghast to find news of the fire. How tragic.. It would have been lovely to see and sail on such a wonderful craft, and ones heart really does go out to those who already have, but especially to Frank and people at the Covey Island Boatyard. I hope your spirits are not dented permanently, and that a new boat will be in progress and at sea soon. Good luck.
